BAGSD Huddersfield Branch Open Obedience Show 4th October 2009

Our Open Obedience show this year was a great success. It was a lovely day with perfect weather for dogs and owners and we had an excellent turn out of dogs working on the day. Many, many thanks to the members who gave up their time to help. It is this help that means we can keep our club running as the money raised pays for many of the clubs necessities during the year.

Particular mention must be made to members David, Sara, Rob, John, Dawn, Dave, Peggy, Jayne, Eddie, Colin, Karen (for the fabulous judges lunches) Steve, Amrit, Christine, Rebecca, Mark, Andrew, Kevin, Ann and my daughter Anastasia who worked all summer to log in the entries.

We had many compliments about the organisation and how much people had enjoyed the day which reflects the dedication of all who assisted. We hope they also enjoyed watching a bit of the show when they had a chance and hope to see you all again next year.

It was nice to see so many GSDs in the winning line ups. Well done to club member’s Dawn Sutcliffe and Zeus and Jayne Murray and Saxon who entered and although not placed, did some excellent work and were quite high up in their classes.
