Good evening everyone; it was lovely to see so many of you turn up today for our first training day of the year particularly given the changeable weather we have experienced!
Doubtless many of you will have already realised that Colin has now completed his responsibility to the club as Treasurer and those who attended today will know that I assumed responsibility for all cash transactions - weekly subs, membership payment (timely reminder to those of you who are yet to renew their membership!!!), shop purchases etc.
As it is still my intention to train my own dog, it is necessary to make some changes around the collection of money each week to allow for this to be possible. With effect from next week (Sunday 10th Jan), all weekly subs must be paid BEFORE 2.05pm, allowing 10 minutes before line up for me to lock away the cash tin and collect Zara for training. In the event of last minute arrivals or late comers, I will resume collection of subs at 3pm during coffee break.
Can you all please ensure that these small, but very important changes, are noted and receive your support - this role is vital to the survival of your club and in the absence of any alternative solutions being available, the committee are working hard to continue to proivde the services utilising our existing member’s skills.
