Special Pre Beginner

  • Heel on the lead (no lefts) 20 points 
  • Recall on the lead 10 points
  • Sit Stay on the lead (½ minute) 15 points 
  • Down stay on the lead (1 minute) 30 points
  • Total 75 points
  • Must lose less than 7.5 points to pass
  • CAN WEAR HEAD COLLAR AND USE TREATS
  • STAYS ARE DONE INDIVIDUALLY

Elementary

  • Heel on the lead 20 points 
  • Novice Recall on long line 20 points
  • Sit stay 1 minute on lead – in sight 10 points 
  • Down stay 2 minutes on lead – in sight 25 points
  • Total score 75 points ( to qualify must lose no more than 7 ½ points )
  • CAN USE TREATS BUT NO HEAD COLLARS
  • STAYS ARE ON LEAD BUT IN A GROUP

Beginner

  • Total Score 100 points (To qualify must lose no more than 10 points)
  • STAYS ARE IN A GROUP WITH DROPPED LEAD

Class A

You are now unable to talk to your dog whilst under test, only a command and signal (and dogs name if you want to) can be used at the start of each exercise, extra body signals, head movement during the exercises will now mean loss of points. Simultaneous command and signal may be used for each exercise. The use of the dog's name will not constitute an extra command if used with the command and signal.

  • Heel free ... 30 points
  • A Recall ... 20 points
  • Retrieve a dumbbell ... 20 points
  • Sit Stay - 1 minutes, handler in sight . 20 points
  • Down Stay - 2 minutes, handler out of sight ... 30 points
  • Scent discrimination. The handler’s scent and no decoys. There must be a total of 6 scent cloths ... 30 point
  • TOTAL ... 150 points
  • You may lose a total of 15 points to qualify.

Test B 

For dogs who have passed Test A. Any age.

You are unable to talk to your dog whilst under test, only a command OR signal (and dogs name if you want to) can be used at the start of each exercise (except for sendaway), extra body signals, head movement during the exercises will mean loss of points.  
You can talk to/praise your dog between exercises.  
Heelwork is heel free only: There are now two new paces of heelwork: slow and fast, each pace starts from a halt. You must not touch your dog during any part of the heelwork test - turns in slow and normal pace may be 90 degree to left ('left turn'), 90 degree to right ('right turn') or 180 to right ('about turn'), 180 to left ('left about turn'), large or medium circles, arcs and diagonal turns to the right or left can be included - turns in fast pace may be 90 degree to left ('left turn'), 90 degree to right ('right turn') or 180 to right ('about turn'), large or medium circles and arcs can be included.
Retrieve judges supplied article: Leaving the dog in the sit beside you, you will then be instructed to complete a retrieve. 
Send Away: Set the dog up beside you, you will then be instructed to complete a sendaway.  
Scent: Dog to find your scent among other cloths (one of which has another persons scent on it). Dog to be facing away from scent area, you will then be instructed to complete the scent.
Stays: 1 min Sit stay handler in sight and 2 min Down stay handler OOS.
Class B and Class C - one command or signal may be used for each exercise except in the send away. The use of the dog's name will not constitute an extra command if used simultaneously with the command or signal.

  • (Heelwork. The dog shall be required to walk at heel free and shall also be tested at fast and slow pace. Each change of pace shall commence from the halt position ... 40 points
  • Send Away, Drop and Recall ... 40 points
  • Retrieve any one article provided by the Judge ... 30 points
  • Sit 1 minutes, handler in sight ... 20 points
  • Down 2 minutes, handler out of sight ... 30 points
  • Scent discrimination. The handler's scent with one decoy. There must be a minimum of 6 and up to 10 scent cloths ... 40 points
  • TOTAL ... 200 points
  • To qualify you may lose 20 points or less.

Test C

For dogs who have passed Test B or C. Any age:

You are unable to talk to your dog whilst under test, only a command OR signal (and dogs name if you want to) can be used at the start of each exercise (except for send away), extra body signals, head movement during the exercises will mean loss of points.  
You can talk to/praise your dog between exercises.  
Heelwork is heel free only: Paces are normal, slow and fast, each pace starts from a halt. You must not touch your dog during any part of the heelwork test - turns in slow and normal pace may be 90 degree to left ('left turn'), 90 degree to right ('right turn') or 180 to right ('about turn'), 180 to left ('left about turn'), circles, arcs and diagonal turns to the right or left, multiple turns to left or right (but not exceeding 360 degree and must go in one directions only), figures of eight and weaving (including use of poles/markers) can be included - during the normal pace a stand, sit and down position whilst moving shall be done, turns in fast pace may be 90 degree to left ('left turn'), 90 degree to right ('right turn') or 180 to right ('about turn'), circles and arcs can be included.
Retrieve judges supplied article: Leaving the dog in the sit beside you, you will then be instructed to complete a retrieve. 
Send Away: Set the dog up beside you, you will then be instructed to complete a sendaway.
Distance Control: Set the dog up in a position decided by the judge, you will then be instructed to ask the dog to complete 6 position changes.
Scent: Dog to find the judges cloth among other cloths (between 1 and 4 of the other cloths may have other peoples scent on it). Dog to be facing away from scent area, you will then be instructed to complete the scent. 
Stays: Sit – 2 mins in sight : Down 3 mins OOS
Commands/signals ... Class C - one command or signal may be used for each exercise except in the send away. The use of the dog's name will not constitute an extra command if used simultaneously with the command or signal.

  • Heel Work. The dog shall be required to walk at heel free, and also be tested at fast and slow pace. The dog shall also be required, whilst walking to heel at normal pace, to be left at the stand, sit and down position ... 60 points
  • Send Away, Drop and Recall ... 40 points
  • Retrieve any one article provided by the Judge ... 30 points
  • Distance Control. Dog to sit, stand and down. Six instructions to be given ... 50 points
  • Sit 2 minutes, in sight ... 20 points
  • Down 3 minutes, handler out of sight ... 50 points
  • Scent discrimination. The Judge's scent and one or more decoys. There must be a minimum of 6 and up to a maximum of 10 scent cloths ... 50 points
  • TOTAL ... 300 points
  • You may lose 30 points or less to qualify
